Shipwright Homes was founded in August 2014 by Dennis Holland and Julie Karges, with a clear conviction: a home should be built the way master shipwrights once built seaworthy vessels — by hand, with patience, and with an obsessive eye for the details no one else will notice.

That conviction still guides every project we take on. Whether we’re designing and constructing a bespoke new residence or executing an intricate full-scale remodel, the same four things lead the work: tradition, craftsmanship, quality, and passion. We bring the precision of true artisans to every home, and we treat the trust homeowners place in us with the seriousness it deserves.

Today, Shipwright Homes serves clients across Orange County from our studio in Newport Beach — helping them navigate the journey of creating a home that’s genuinely their own.
